Cole Park is located at the corner of Park and Sixth Street, next to the Bellevue Municipal Swimming Pool. The park has playground equipment, a basketball court, and two tennis courts. The park also has a baseball field, a softball field, and a soccer field. A covered picnic area and public restrooms are available at the park.

Bellevue State Park Nelson Unit

Bellevue State Park is located on high bluffs with scenic views of the Mississippi River. It has 473 acres with timbered walking trails, sheltered picnic areas, an enclosed lodge, a unique butterfly garden, a 220 acre hunting area, and a nature center.

The South Bluff Nature Center is also located in the Nelson Unit of Bellevue State Park. It contains a variety of interesting displays on the plants, animals, and geology of Bellevue State Park. Open seasonally and is dependent on staff and volunteer availability.
