Bellevue Visitor Information

For a true riverfront experience, drive along The Great River Road into Bellevue.

Visit the riverfront shops for collectibles, gifts, clothing and books, dine at one of our fine eating establishments, and tour the historical sites in town, including many limestone buildings listed on the National Historic Register. Spend the night in one of our quaint bed & breakfasts, a historic hotel downtown, a rustic cabin in the country or along the river, or in a modern hotel located right on the river.

Celebrate life with parades, fireworks, outdoor concerts and festivals along the riverbanks throughout the year. Walk or bike along the banks of the Mississippi River, and watch the eagles soar over the river or above the bluffs during the winter.  Enjoy a hike along one of the trails in Bellevue State Park and see the beautiful community butterfly garden.

Try fishing, boating and water skiing on the Mississippi River.  Check out "Ski Bellevue" performing this semi-pro quality, crowd pleasing trick Ski Bellevue video - GoPro 3 and preparing to perform another, even tougher trick Ski Bellevue video - GoPro 4.

Spend time camping at the campgrounds along the river or on the bluffs. Watch the barges and classic riverboats like the Delta Queen lock through at Lock and Dam #12.

Everyone is welcome to attend a Catholic service at St. Joseph in Bellevue, Saints Peter & Paul in Springbrook, St. Catherine or St. Donatus. In addition Bellevue offers St. John Lutheran or First Presbyterian Churches.

Whatever your pleasure, come to Bellevue to experience and appreciate our small town charm and friendliness.
